EasyKeys.com, a company founded to provide a convenient, hassle-free process for ordering replacement
keys and lock cores for office furniture online, has launched a first-of-its kind website –
www.EasyKeys.com – that expands its online services to companies worldwide.
"EasyKeys.com offers an extremely efficient solution to a problem commonly found in work environments every day," said company founder and President Greg
Martisauski, who heads a team that has been providing office furniture key and lock services since the early 1980's.
"Office and facility managers are constantly under tight deadlines at companies
of every size and they are clamoring for services that offer seamless workplace
solutions," he said. "We have developed a centralized, streamlined process for
ordering replacement office furniture keys and lock cores that can solve today’s problems by
10am the next morning."
The concept for EasyKeys.com originated in 2002 at a major
regional office furniture dealer in response to a need by its customers for an
efficient means of obtaining replacement office furniture keys. The online
service has steadily developed and grown and has been launched as a separate
company, EasyKeys.com, which is dedicated to expanding the online service on a
worldwide basis.
The new company is under the leadership of Martisauski, a former application
developer who was the original architect of the service and who has assembled a
dedicated team for continued expansion and enhancement of the service.
"We have had so much growth that it was time to establish our own identity and
corporate structure separate from the dealer," he said. "We now have the best of
both worlds – technology that has been proven successful, plus a corporate structure that enhances our service and puts us on a
path of continued growth."
EasyKeys.com cuts keys and supplies lock cores for the majority of office furniture manufacturers, including
Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, HON, Kimball and Knoll, which can be shipped
for overnight delivery anywhere in the world.
According to Francie Woods, a real estate lease administrator with SunTrust Bank
in Richmond, Va., replacing office furniture keys can be a regular problem due
to office moves, forgetful employees, job transfers and employee turnover.
The hallmark of EasyKeys.com is its speed and convenience; the turnaround is phenomenal," she
said. "I submit the order on Monday and the key is here by Tuesday. With
EasyKeys.com, it’s a one-stop process that is complete in less than 24 hours."
SunTrust, one of the nation’s largest commercial banking organizations, operates more than 1,600
branches throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Woods said the
EasyKeys.com feature that benefits her company most is the ability to set up
individual user accounts tied to her master account for multiple SunTrust
offices.
Primary contacts such as
Woods can set up an account in their name, and they also can open separate
accounts for nationwide business associates. While the primary account holder
has complete access to all ordering, billing and tracking features, additional
users can only place orders and cannot access the features available only to the
primary account holder.
"Before, if we had five
different kinds of furniture in an office we had to order five different types
of keys from five different manufacturers, which meant five purchase orders,"
Woods said. "As an existing customer, we can submit one purchase order for all
orders. We are billed at one location, and then we can just submit purchase
orders as needed. To me, it doesn’t get much easier than that."
Martisauski, who developed the customized online software that would become EasyKeys.com, also
developed the business plan calling for EasyKeys.com as its own company.
After six years of providing workplace solutions to our customers, it was a natural evolution to
expand our services and create our own, separate identity," said Martisauski,
noting that EasyKeys.com cuts, stamps and ships several hundred keys a day. "By
creating a separate company, it allows us to provide a much-needed service to
all office furniture manufacturers and distributors."
EasyKeys.com’s success, Martisauski said, has been spurred in part by offering next-day turnaround of
orders and its unique ability to cut keys for all office furniture manufacturers
and give customers exactly what they need. Included among his clients are office
and facility managers from companies with a few employees in a single location to
large, multi-national companies with offices from coast to coast.
"Our intent is to remove
just one of the many headaches that facility managers and office furniture
dealers face several times each day," Martisauski said. "We get compliments on a
daily basis from customers who can’t believe how efficient our service runs.
Ultimately, that makes their job easier."
